Who we are
The Kent Lions are an all – volunteer “Community Service Organization.” We are a group of fine individuals dedicated to help those in need, providing enhancement to our community through hands-on projects and grants and to creating an environment that allows our members to enrich their own lives by unselfishly serving others.
The main charitable cause of the Lions worldwide is eyesight and hearing conservation programs. This is only a partial list as individual lions clubs are involved in a wide scope of charities. We raise funds through the community and our members contribute their time, money , and effort in order to provide assistance on the various Kent Lions projects.

How to Join
1. Come visit one of our meetings or use the “Contact Us” information
2. Fill out a Lions Club Application.
3. A couple of Lion members will discuss with you the Kent Lions Club activities and your interest in joining the club. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and you to ask any questions that you have about being a Lion.
4. The membership chair will present your application to the club board and after approval, you will be invited to join the Kent Lions Club.
5. You need to pay the $35 one-time only membership fee and the pro-rated yearly membership fees which cover dues to Lions Club International, the Multiple District 19 and the local club.
6. The membership chair will arrange for your induction into the Kent Lions Club.
